Do you have what it takes to be an Instant Family?
This movie is based on true events the director experienced when he fostered and adds a humorous quality as well. There is a great need for more foster homes in Riley and Geary counties. In October, our reports show there were 9 Saint Francis foster homes in Geary County, and 40 children were placed outside of their home county. Based on these numbers, we still need around 23 Saint Francis foster homes to service the Junction City area. The closest theater that is showing the movie is AMC Theaters in Manhattan at the Manhattan Town Center Mall.
There are over 2,755 Kansas children in out-of-home care, with more entering care every week. Kansas needs more foster and adoptive families to provide for these children both for temporary care and as forever families.
