The Hour of Code is a world-wide event to introduce students to basic computer programming (learn more here: http://csedweek.org/about). Students learn the “language” that makes apps/websites run while combining math, reading, technology and problem solving skills.
Where: In your student’s classroom
How: You can either come to sit with your child to guide them as they code in their classroom (see times above) or you can bring your own device with WiFi capabilities to code next to your child. If you haven’t received your own log in to www.code.org or www.tynker.com please fill out the slip below and return it with your child to school.
